The Power of A boudoir Experience

When you think about what it means to be a boudoir photographer, one may assume it’s a fun job where clients magically jump in their lingerie, having this blast of a time with so much confidence oozing out into the atmosphere. While this is very true on the surface, the boudoir experience is much more meaningful. A boudoir photographer like myself empowers others through a journey of “seeing oneself" in their fullest expression. When explaining to others that I am a boudoir photographer I hear all sorts of things that miss the point of how these sessions benefit my clients.  Some of you may know, but maybe some of you have no idea how impactful and therapeutic a boudoir session is.   

It seems like the boudoir experience is all about the body because it involves pictures of it, but it’s really about who you are and who you are becoming. There is a powerful alchemy in boudoir that certainly raises humans to their higher vibration, and brings them closer to their authentic selves.

There are many people who choose to do a photo session because they've journeyed to a point in their life where they know their worth, are beginning to feel more confident, and are ready to see themselves to accept themselves. They know who they are and are ready to embrace it. There are other humans that are seeking confidence, and know it lives inside of them, but they just need help seeing it, feeling it and believing it. They want to harness the parts of themselves they've been hiding.  These hidden parts of them are actually their authentic selves, and a photo experience like boudoir can show them who they are meant to be.  The boudoir experience helps bring out a person's FULLEST EXPRESSION through their body language and posing, facial expressions, and what they wear.
