You’ll be guided through an intimate day of embodiment, creativity, and muse energy—complete with professional hair and makeup, wardrobe options, and your time with Fern, the forest tub herself. Where does this session take place and who will be there?
Forest Enchantress Sessions are held at my private residence in Middleboro, MA, surrounded by secluded woods. On your session day, it will be me (Ria), your professional hair and makeup artist, and Fern—the forest tub herself. My golden retriever, Willow (she’s nine years old and the sweetest assistant you’ll ever meet), will be relaxing inside the house during your session. She keeps the vibes cozy while you enjoy full privacy in the forest.
What should I wear? Do you provide wardrobe?
Clothing is completely optional—this is about what feels authentic to you. I also have a curated client closet with pieces you’re welcome to borrow. After booking, you’ll complete a short questionnaire, and we’ll hop on a call or Zoom to collaborate on your ideas (themes, bath elixir inspiration, wardrobe options). Together, we’ll decide what you’ll bring and what I can provide so you feel fully prepared on your session day.
What does the day look like?
Your Forest Enchantress experience begins at 10am at my Middleboro property. We’ll finalize outfit choices and hair & makeup inspiration, then you’ll settle into hair and makeup—the first moment of relaxation. Once ready, we’ll photograph your first look in the forest, then transition to your time with Fern in the tub. You’ll leave feeling around 1 or 2pm feeling refreshed and grounded. We’ll schedule your Reveal (via Zoom or in person at my Walpole studio) within two weeks after your session so you can view and select your images.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Because we’re in New England, weather can be unpredictable. We only reschedule in the case of extreme rain or snow. Otherwise, we embrace the season—sun, breeze, or a little mist adds to the forest’s mood. If rescheduling is needed, we’ll choose a new date that works for everyone.
Is the bath water cold?
Absolutely not—Fern, the forest tub, would never let that happen. She’s is always filled with warm water so you can soak beneath the pines in total comfort.
How private is the experience?
Your comfort and safety are always the priority. Sessions take place in my private backyard forest—completely hidden from view. Only myself, your stylist, and Fern will be present while you’re being photographed. Willow, my golden retriever assistant, stays inside the house so you can fully relax and immerse yourself in the experience.
